marvelous massage, clean pool area, charming historic character
The spa receptionist could use a crash course in customer service!!! Why were the complimentary tea and coffee charges so high? A bit of variety in the spa treatments wouldn't hurt either!!!

Recommend it for families wanting relaxation
The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and well appointed shower room. the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making you feel like you were at home, not just a place where you paid to sleep.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but you could see why.

We had a lovely weekend getaway and enjoyed the great spa facilities, especially the sauna and steam room. The cozy room was comfortable, though the mattress felt a bit soft for my taste. it was a fantastic experience, just make sure to bring your own milk for tea! ☕️

Cozy stay with great vibes
Had a lovely time in our cozy room. Super comfy bed and the shower was immaculate! Dinner by the fire was totally the highlight, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming with a sorry-looking veggie option. The spa was cute but a bit crammed. nice spot with fun character and friendly staff.

The Spread Eagle in Midhurst has a historic charm that immediately stands out. The quirky decor dating back to the 15th century adds character. My room was clean and quite comfortable, although the mattress felt a bit too firm for my liking. I appreciated the amenities, especially the spa area. The pool and hot tub were highlights of my stay. Treatments offered were exceptional, and the therapists were skilled. Breakfast was delicious but took longer than expected, and service during peak hours felt stretched. During dinner, the food was excellent, but I noticed the portions were smaller than I anticipated. I also found the lack of clear information about breakfast options frustrating. we stumbled upon cereal and juice in another room. The bar service could be improved, as it often took a while to get someone’s attention. On the downside, I encountered a noise issue from outside music events during my stay, which disrupted my evening. At checkout, I found an unexpected service charge which felt unwarranted given the service quality. while the charm and spa amenities made the stay enjoyable, the service inconsistencies left something to be desired.
